Scientific Name : Strepera graculina
Common Name : Pied currawong
Description : A large crow-like bird, to 500mm. It is predominately black, with a large black bill. It has a patch of white on each wing. It has a white rump and is white under the base of the tail. There is a white band across the end of the tail. The eye is yellow.
Habitat : Open forest and woodland.
Distribution : The eastern areas of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. In Victoria throughout the east and south of the state. Common in the Billys creek section of the Park and occasional in the Fosters Gully section.
