Scientific Name : Poa sieberiana
Common Name : Grey tussock-grass
Height : 800 mm
Description : This grass forms small dense tussocks of slender leaves to 300 mm long. The leaves are very slender, Terete, only 0.7 mm wide. The Ligule is stiff, membranous and Truncate, 0.5 mm long. The Inflorescence forms an open Panicle above the leaves, to 200 mm long, of numerous spikelets of 2 to 7 tiny flowers.
Habitat : Common in open forest.
Distribution : Queensland to Victoria and Tasmania. The commonest tussock grass in all of Victoria except the north-west. Common in forested areas of the Park, especially on Stringybark Ridge.
