Scientific Name : Falco berigora
Common Name : Brown falcon
Description : A medium-sized bird of prey, to 500mm. Brown above, whitish, usually with dark streaks on its underparts. The face is whitish, with brown marks behind the eye and down from the front of the eye. The thighs are brown. Glides on raised wings and sometimes hovers.
Habitat : Found in most habitats, except for closed forest.
Distribution : Throughout Australia. Rarely seen in the Park, as it prefers more open country.
