This lily can form dense tufts, but in the Park these are usually few-stemmed. Leaves are erect, up to 600mm long. They are closely sheathing in the basal portion, but the Lamina has strongly Revolute margins, curled back almost to the mid-rib. The flower stems are much branched, with blue to violet flowers terminal on the branchlets. Sepals and Petals are about equal in length. Stamens are shorter than the Tepals, with blackish Anthers above yellow swellings on the Filaments. The fruit is an Ovoid blue berry, up to 10 mm long. |

All states of Australia, except for the Northern Territory. Widespread and common throughout Victoria. Occasional in the Park, on hillsides on both sides of Fosters Gully, especially on Stringybark Ridge. |
