||Fronds are Pinnate, with two forms. The barren fronds have short broad Pinnae to 30 mm long, and more or less even width right to the base. Towards the base of the Stipe the Pinnae bases become narrowed, with a few pairs shortly stalked. Fertile fronds tend to be more upright than the barren fronds, but similar in length. The Pinnae of the fertile fronds are brownish, short, narrow and almost parallel to the Stipe. Sori are continuous on either side of the mid-vein of each Pinna.
